Tecia Pelling's leadership story was not shaped in a boardroom—it was forged through adversity.
Alongside her husband, Scott, Tecia has walked a journey few can imagine. Both of their sons, Joshua and John, were born with a rare autoimmune disease that required life-saving bone marrow transplants as infants. Over the years, their family has also navigated autism, seizures, multiple brain surgeries, and countless unexpected challenges.
Yet through every season, Tecia and Scott continued to lead, serve, develop people, and build teams. While many would have stepped back, they chose to lean in—discovering that leadership is not defined by circumstances but by character, resilience, and unwavering faith.
These experiences shaped Tecia's passion for helping leaders create healthy cultures built on trust, connection, communication, and purpose. She understands firsthand that thriving teams are not formed when life is easy, but when leaders remain steady through challenge and change.
Today, as a speaker, trainer, and consultant, Tecia equips leaders to cultivate cultures where people feel valued, empowered, and inspired to grow. Her message is rooted in both professional experience and a personal journey that has proven one truth again and again: adversity may test a leader, but it can also reveal the strength, faith, and hope that inspire others to follow.
